You've read the research! You've heard the buzz! You've seen the commercials! Now see it in action! Technology can be a great motivator for student engagement, but it can also be perceived as a financial barrier. There are many alternatives out there to many of the technology tools (hardware and software) that many educators use. This workshop will cover a wide array of available technology that is free or inexpensive to all levels of education. Find some really effective ways to stretch that dollar! Some of the areas we'll cover in the workshop will be: Examples of student projects; Google Tools for the Classroom; Online Classroom management; Alternatives to traditional software.
