Storytelling through Digital Arts

In Cathedral City High School’s Digital Storytelling Class, instructor Matt Hamilton and media mentor David Vogel have created a program that bridges English and digital arts to produce projects that serve the local community. Viewing student projects, attendees will see how the story is the core of our digital arts projects, whether our students are creating a digital history of our city, the runway graphics for the El Paseo Fashion Show, or a public service announcement for local television in the Coachella Valley. Good teachers don’t just lecture; we want you to get your hands wet with digital storytelling. Part of this session will be devoted to producing a digital story that will represent everyone who attended our presentation.
