Connecting to Arts Careers

The Arts, Media, and Entertainment Tech Prep Demonstration Site leaders from across the State will engage in a panel discussion on designing programs and curriculum in the AME sector that reach down into the middle school and extend to community college and beyond. In sector pathways ranging from Media Design Arts to Performing Arts, Tech Prep sites will share programs of study, articulation models, and high quality curriculum. They will provide an update on their individual projects and share strategies on engaging industry partners in both urban and rural environments. Attendees will take away strategies for engaging middle school partners, developing Articulation Agreements, and building effective interaction with local, sector specific, advisories. Panelists will also be available to respond to questions at the end of the session.
