California's Business Education Leadership Project

The Business Education Leadership Project identifies, develops, and disseminates standards-based curriculum and assessment tools for Career Technical Education programs. This session will provide the following: an overview of California’s Career Technical Education & 15 industry sectors; an explanation of the Business Education sectors, including IT, Business & Finance and Marketing, Sales & services; the pathways and Programs of Study in each sector; the sequence of courses within Pathways; resources for developing course outlines that integrate core academics and meet standards for UC a-g approval; and the training opportunities and resources for high school teachers.
